This stunning and rare late Art Deco round pedestal coffee or centre table comes from the renowned designer Reiners Möbler of Mjölby, Sweden. Crafted in substantial proportions, the table showcases vibrant radially inlaid flame mahogany veneers, centred by a striking satin birch medallion, a hallmark design of this high-end Swedish maker.
A thick, solid top rests on a concave triform centre column, formed with stylised split-turning ebonised Corinthian columns, which rise from a triform base with shaped ebonised feet. The maker proudly stamped the top support plate with an “R” and “MJOLBY”, enclosed by three crowns within a triangle, and dated the piece 1942 beneath the top edge.
This exceptional Art Deco table also includes a bespoke 8mm protective plate glass top, ensuring both preservation and everyday usability.

In very good condition for its’ age, Ebonising very good, some very slight areas of crazing of Shellac polish on top, some small splits/chips of veneer on base. Supplied disassembled in three sections
