A lovely example of an Ercol vintage Model 366 sideboard. In beautifully figured Elm throughout this compact but functional piece comprises a very versatile layout of double door cupboard, single tall cupboard and large single drawer, all raised on four tapering legs with cross stretcher. Originally designed for the dining room with its integral sliding cutlery tray and its’ internal divisions , but equally suited to any room in the house
The 1956 Ercol Brochure describes as this;-
"This solid Elm sideboard is raised on a contrasting beech underpart. It has a long deep drawer, two door large cupboard above and a large vertical cupboard complete with adjustable shelf and a lift out cutlery tray with movable partitions. Notice the modelled and gently curved front with its oval handles sculptured in recesses in the solid wood. With its fully polished back it can be used as a room divider"
